One world, eight perspectives

Octopath Traveler begins with the decision as to which character you want to control as a player. Each of the eight characters has their own unique story and develops different abilities. Scholar Cyrus, for example, is searching for a stolen book that is said to contain dark secrets. The dancer Primrose is searching for her father's murderers and the thief Therion is to retrieve a few stolen artifacts that belong to a noble family. Family were stolen.
