When a construction simulation meets tower defense, things can get chaotic. But it can also result in a game like Becastled from developer team Mana Potion Studios. In the game, players have to create their own little empire and defend it for as long as possible.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sun and moon<\/h2>\n

In Becastled, players take control of a race of sun people. The small Figures<\/a> are actually just looking for a safe home to build a life for themselves. But that's not so easy, because at night the envious moon people come out of the shadows and want to wipe out their sun-loving neighbors. So it pays to be quick if you don't want to lose your castle and get to safety.<\/p>\n

The dark army of the night is always good for a surprise. Enough soldiers should therefore be well positioned.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

However, before such a castle can be properly protected, houses for workers must be created. Further farm buildings must be built and expanded, as the workers need food, drink, wood or metals, for example, to secure the location and protect themselves from attacks.<\/p>\n

As in a normal Construction simulation<\/a> managing resources during the light hours is an important factor. If the castle's economy is not running smoothly, there will be a lack of important materials or people to protect the castle later on.<\/p>\n

Becastled is a fight for survival<\/h2>\n

As soon as night falls<\/a>it's time to get down to business. The armies of the moon people come from the<\/a> forests and attack the land of the sun people. This is still relatively easy in the first few rounds because the number of troops is manageable and they only attack from one or two directions. The places where the enemies attack are marked with blue torches so that you can see where they are. focus on the<\/a> attack waves. However, the longer a game goes on, the stronger the enemy armies become. Players therefore need a good strategy if they want to get rid of the attackers. Fortunately, the game offers a wide range of military tools. However, soldiers, catapults, defense towers and similar defensive options also cost manpower and resources.<\/p>\n

Because your empire is constantly expanding, protecting your castle becomes more and more complex. This way, players always have something to do and every round is different. In addition, the starting cards are always generated randomly, which also has an influence on the resources and the Strategies<\/a> can have in Becastled.<\/p>\n

Last but not least, it is also an extreme challenge to fight your way through the difficulty levels. If you think you've seen everything, you should turn up the difficulty level.<\/p>\n
