Twelve Minutes ★ A chamber play in a continuous loop

Trapped in a nightmare - In which Indie game Twelve Minutes from publisher Annapurna Interactive, the player in the role of a desperate husband always experiences the same twelve minutes. Only if he can uncover all the secrets will he have a chance of breaking the time loop!

An unforgettable evening

It could actually have been the best evening ever. A Husband comes home and finds out that he is about to become a father. But the initial mood of celebration changes from one minute to the next when a policeman suddenly appears at the door. He accuses the wife of murdering her father and searches for an old pocket watch that belonged to the deceased. When the husband intervenes, the situation escalates.

Just a few seconds later, the man finds himself back in the front door and has to realize that the evening has started all over again. A race against time begins for him, because he is the only one who knows what will happen and he alone can try to change the events in Twelve Minutes.

Star line-up

In the indie game developed by Luis Antonio, the three roles of the husbandthe wife and the policeman are played by true Hollywood greats. James McAvoy has given the husband the Voice who will be familiar to Marvel fans as Professor X from "X-Men: First Decisions" and other films. At his side is his wife Daisy Ridley, who had her breakthrough as Rey in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens". Together they have to stand their ground against the ice-cold police officer, who is voiced by Willem Dafoe. The actor is known from films such as "Platoon", "Boondock Saints" and "Fate is a Lousy Traitor".

Time variables

Even if the situation seems hopeless at first, small details soon become apparent that the player can influence. This opens up new opportunities to obtain information or important resources with every run. As a player, you have to draw the right conclusions and make the right decisions. Chains of events in order to find certain time periods. However, Twelve Minutes only unfolds its full story once you have followed all the story paths and made it through to their various endings. This gives the player the incentive to try even the smallest changes in order to to find the small hidden pathswhich ultimately round off the story.
