A collaboration between the developers of Mooneaters and the publisher VARSAV Game Studios has resulted in Everdream Valley, a relaxing gaming experience that is officially described as an unusual journey. The players' path leads to the eponymous Valley of Dreams, where we are offered the opportunity to return to a time when summer vacations were still real adventures.
You take on the role of a young protagonist who is able to spend a summer vacation on his grandparents' farm for the first time in his life. Without his parents, with his faithful four-legged friend Companions at his side the young hero is faced with the task of managing his grandparents' farm and looking after their animals.
A mixture of farm simulation and exploration
The tasks involved in working on the farm will be familiar from other games in this genre. Plant seeds and water them regularly to maximize your harvest, which can then be sold. Or look after various animals in order to animal products such as milk or wool, which can also be turned into money.
In addition to the tasks on your farm, in Everdream Valley it is possible to explore the eponymous Valley of Dreams, which features numerous secretsdifferent biomes and optional missions. If you keep your eyes open on your journey, you will come across exciting stories and new challenges at every turn.

However, the greatest adventures in Everdream Valley are waiting where very few players would expect them: In their dreams. Yes, you read that right. Your protagonist has a magic hat, which he raises as soon as he goes to sleep after a hard day on his farm.
Having arrived in the realm of dreams, the Everdream Valley an interesting playful twist. Suddenly, we take control of various animals and experience their individual stories and adventures. For example, the dreams will be about helping a separated pair of ducks to find each other again, the tragic Destiny of a cat or to find out what's going on with the animals on your own farm.
