Everything at the beginning

Ten years have passed since the Happenings from the indirect predecessor Deliver Us The Moon. Humanity is on the brink of the abyss and sees only one chance to ensure the survival of the species. The last resources of the dying Earth are pooled to launch a space mission with Mars as its destination. The players experience through the eyes of the young Astronaut Kathy Johanson captures the last moments on Earth before the colony ship ARCHE takes to the skies and leaves the dying planet behind. The crew's mission is clear: to establish a new home colony on Mars and thus ensure the long-term survival of humanity.

However, complications arise shortly before landing. The ARCHE's systems fail and an exit via the escape capsules seems to be the only way out. Shortly afterwards, Kathy finds herself alone on the surface of Mars and has to embark on an arduous search for her other crew members and the remains of the ARCHE.
